Toast Message Guidance

Toast messages should display at the bottom left of the screen so as to not interfere with navigation.

Toast messages fall into 4 categories:

• Confirmation: The action you initiated has completed successfully

  • Ex: “New seeding log created.”

• Failure: The action you initiated has failed

  • Ex: “Failed to create new seeding log. Try again?”

• Informational: Additional context is helpful in assisting the user on this page

  • Ex: “You can automatically share this log with your workers now - would you like to do that?”

• Warning: Guidance to avoid a danger

  • Ex: “Are you sure you wish to delete this field? You will lose all data and won’t be able to recover it”
