Discussion points

• Animal Creation flow clarifications:

  • styling of info tooltip can remain as is

  • typing into breed should be prohibited until a type is selected

    • current “please select a type first” can become a placeholder so the breed select is complete non-interactable

• Soil amendment - Product Edit + Create Flows

  • Clarification on cleared inputs (updated in Figma)

  • The React Select ratio/percent styling

    • Can remain unchanged from the current Unit (= white background, currently selected unit is available in the options list)

• Soil amendment - application rate

  • Only weight will be offered as a quantity (no liquids for v1)

  • Quantity input will be unchanged from current

  • Application rate units will be FIXED to kg/ha for all metric farms and lb/acre for all imperial farms

    • this means that any location areas that are not in ha or acre will be converted to show in the area field

    • any quantities input by the user in the weight tab that were not input in kg or lb will be converted to show in the quantity field

  • There is still a pending discussion with a soil scientist which might result in refinement/alteration of of the above; most likely this would be for soil v2

• Repeating tasks

  • Group looked particularly at the instance list and how to alter forward-looking (future instance) dates

    • Edit action will be more clearly tied to the instance

    • “Repeat from…” Date field will therefore not be necessary

    • Copy will be explicit which instances will be affected

  • Changes group approved!
