Buttons

Sticky buttons at the bottom of the screen are used to make certain actions easily accessible. These options are always visible on screen and the rest of the content flows behind them.

Display Options

Depending on the number of actions associated with the page, there are displayed different depending on whether there is 1 primary action, 2, or 3+. For pages that have 3+ actions, a list will appear with the secondary actions tied to the page.

When to use buttons

The following are instances where a sticky button can be used:

Elements that can be edited and/or deleted.
Ex. Management plans, tasks, documents, etc.

Open

Actions necessary to continue a next step.

When NOT to use buttons

The following are instances where a sticky button is NOT appropriate:

The action is adding an element

Select/Clear actions

Actions that prompt a modal

Non-primary actions
