Introduction to the LiteFarm application

Although software developers are the primary audience for this material, it's convenient to take a first look at LiteFarm from a user's perspective.

At beta.litefarm.org you will find a public, non-production deployment of LiteFarm. This deployment is used for integration and various quality assurance activities. It can also be used for exploration by new team members.

Using this deployment, create a new account for yourself, and complete the "onboarding" process as follows.

• When creating your farm, select a location in Canada.

• When asked if you are interested in certifications, say “Yes”, and select “Organic certification”.

• Select any of the listed certifiers.

When you have completed the onboarding, you will see the "home" screen. It greets you by name, shows a seasonal image, and the current weather for your farm location.

Now you are ready to view some tutorial videos at YouTube. If you follow along, be aware that the videos do not show the "spotlights" that LiteFarm uses to introduce and explain certain features when you visit them for the first time.

Please view the first four videos on the playlist. The other videos are less important at this time.
